Alaska Extremely Remote Fly-In Self-Guided Moose Drop Hunt Special!

John Liner with his 2008 Trophy Bull MooseJohn Liner with his 2008 Trophy Bull MooseIf you've been looking for an extremely remote fly-in moose drop hunt that normally has had a past success rate of 40% - 64%, then this is the hunt for you.

The Alaskan Bull Moose not only has the largest antlers in North America, but it also has the largest body. Many Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young record book animals are taken each year in Alaska. This self-guided, remote moose drop hunt takes place about 300 miles west of Anchorage, Alaska. All bull moose taken by non-resident hunters must have a rack with a spread of at least 50" or the bull must have four brow tines on at least one side. (Some areas that we hunt offer different antler restrictions for resident hunters of Alaska)

References and photographs from past hunters gladly furnished upon request. Bulls with racks from 50" to 70" or more are possible.

These hunts take place from September 1st or 5th to September 20th or 25th. We supply lists for suggested equipment, clothing, tackle and food for this hunt. We take our self-guided moose hunters into units 19B, 21A or 21E most of the time. Some units do change do to the current regulations the year you make your reservation.

"Dreams Become Reality with AITW""Dreams Become Reality with AITW"

The overall success on this hunt for 2005 was 64%. The success in 2006 and 2008 was down due to extremely hot weather, lots of foliage and hunters quieting early. 2009 was a good year for many moose hunters yet other hunters were not so lucky due to the very warm weather and rainy weather during the moose season.
