Alaska Extremely Remote Fly-In Two-Camp Self-Guided Caribou Drop Hunt and Moose & Big Game Float Hunting & Fishing Special for Alaskan Residents!

Beth with nice bullIf your an Alaskan resident and you've been looking for an extremely remote two-camp combination fly-in caribou and moose & big game hunting & fishing adventure that normally has had 40% - 64% past success on moose and 70% - 90% or better past success on caribou then this is the hunt for you.

These self-guided hunts take place about 300 miles west of Anchorage. All bull moose taken on this hunt must have an antler spread of at least 50" or more or have atleast four brow tines on one side. Over the years many bull moose have been taken with racks exceeding 60" in our hunting areas. Bull moose with racks from 50" to 70" or more are possible.

Our moose hunts take place from September 5th to September 20^th. This is a two camp combination hunt. First we fly you out on a caribou drop hunt for 3 to 5 days then we pick you up and take you to float hunt for moose & big game in a totally different area for an additional 8 to 10 days. Our caribou hunts take place in units 17, 18 & 19. Our moose & big game float hunts take place in units 19B. The caribou season in our areas run from September 1st to the end of September each year.

By hunting the two-camp method you normally increase your odds for getting both species tremendously.

We supply lists for suggested equipment, clothing, tackle, and food for this hunt. This hunt has produced many fine trophy bull moose, grizzly, caribou, black bear, wolf and wolverines over the years.

The fishing is awesome on the float hunt and is world class.

This exciting 12 to 20 day plus two-camp moose, caribou & big game hunt includes:

• Bush flights from a small Alaska town to the two hunting areas and return.
• One check flight weather permitting & all meat, hide & rack hauling from camp back to a small town.
• Placement of you and your group into two different prime remote moose & caribou hunting areas
• Tents, cooking & eating equipment, cook stove & fuel, 5 gallon water jug, salt for your capes/hides, pepper for your meat and bear spray.
• Two-way radio, tarps, dry bags and sleeping pads.
• Meat shed and cleaning station in town.
• 13' or 14' Otter rafts, rowing frame, cargo nets, oars, patch kit, pump and life jackets.

All for $6,735 or $7,215 USD per hunter for 2009

(The cost for a non-hunting companion runs $4,515 or $4,835)

The price varies per person depening on the river you elect to float

If fuel prices increase a lot in 2009 a fuel surcharge may be added to the cost of your hunt if need be!
