Alaska Fly-In Brown Bear Lodge or Tent Camp Hunt

Lodge Hunt Brown BearWe invite you to come and experience brown bear hunting at its best in Alaska with a very professional registered guide.

We have been working with this outstanding guide for over 20 years. He hunts very hard for our clients and his past success has been near 100%.

This is the same guide that we use for our trophy spring grizzly hunts Adventure-21B and his track record is second to none.

These hunts are conducted out of a modern fly-in lodge or at a tent camp on the Alaskan Peninsula. Over the years, this hunt has produced brown bear that averaged 8 to 10 feet, with larger bear taken as well.

Boone & Crockett record book brown bears have been taken on this hunt. You will hunt some of the finest big game areas that Alaska has to offer, accessible by boat & motor from a beautiful modern lodge.

Our next spring brown bear hunt will take place in 2008. Our next fall brown bear hunt will take place in September of 2009.

In the fall of 2003 we had three brown bear hunters and all three hunters took the bear of their choice. The largest 2003 fall brown bear was 10' 2" and the estimated weight of the bear was 1200 pounds. In 2004 our tent camp hunters took two brown bears and two bull caribou. During the fall of 2005 we had three hunters that harvested three bears. The largest bear squared 9'-10", another bear squared 9'-0" and the smallest bear squared 8'-6". In the spring of 2006 we had several brown bear hunters and they all took the bears of their choice. In the fall of 2007 we had several brown bear hunters and all but one hunter took the bears of their choice. The hunter that did not take a bear passed up a 10' plus brown bear.

* Black bear, wolf and wolverine can be taken as incidental species on some of the brown bear hunts.

The cost of this 10-day brown bear hunt is $14,000 USD per hunter.

(We do allow two hunters that know each other well and want to hunt side by side to hunt with this outstanding guide)

These spring & fall brown bear hunts are sold on a first come first serve basis only so Act Now for 2008 & 2009!

License & tag fees:

General hunting license $85, brown bear tag $500, black bear tags $225 each, wolf tags $30 each, wolverine tag $175. License and tag fees are higher for non-U.S. citizens. The hunting license and tags for this hunt can be purchased over the counter at any time and are not included in the hunt package cost.

Lodge Brown BearOur spring & fall brown bear hunting packages begin and end in Pedro Bay, Alaska. All expenses to and from Pedro Bay are at your own expense.
