Idaho Fully Guided Cougar Hunt

Idaho CougarWe offer excellent cougar hunting out of Elk City, Idaho that normally has enjoyed 70 - 100% past success. The snowmobile cougar hunts are conducted in November & December. These 8-day fully guided hunts take place in the "River of No Return" wilderness area.

Over the past 10 years most of our clients took the cougar of their choice. The cougar average 140 to 160 pounds. Toms have been taken up to 180 pounds or more. We urge any hunter that wants to get a cougar to act soon as it won't be long before cougar hunting becomes history!

Hunting is done with the use of experienced guides and their hounds, snowmobiles, snowshoes, and on foot. This is truly an exciting hunt!

Our 8-Day Cougar Hunt Package Includes:

• 6-days of actual hunting
• Motel, tent camp or cabin accommodations
• Professional guide (2x1 or 1x1)
• Snowmobiles on some hunts
• Bush planes on the remote fly-in hunt
• Hounds for tracking
• All meals during the hunt

All for only $3,000.00 USD per hunter 2x1

The elevation runs between 1,500 and 2,500 feet. Snowmobiles are used for transportation 70 to 80% of the time. The final stalk is done on foot. We welcome bow, handgun, rifle and muzzleloader hunters on this great cougar hunt.

Remote Fly-In Cougar Hunt

We offer a very remote fly-in cougar foot hunt with hounds at a cost of $3,500.00 1 X 1. This hunt starts and ends in Grangeville, Idaho. The fly-in cougar hunts take place in January and February.

We also offer fully guided hunts for elk, Shiras moose, mule deer and black bear. If interested in any of these hunts, ask for adventure flyer 6A-E. The hunts take place out of Lewiston, Idaho. Most of the hunts take place in units 20 and 20A.

Additional Costs:

• The cost of a cougar tag is $31.50 or $258.50 depending on the unit you hunt
• A general hunting license runs $148.50
• There is a 6% Idaho sales tax and 3% forestry tax
