Idaho Fully Guided Shiras Moose Hunt!

This is truly a back country hunt in the Salmon River Mountains.  We hunt unit 20 in the "River of No Return" wilderness area.  These Shiras moose hunts are conducted out of tent camps with elevations between 3,000 to 8,000 feet.  The mountains are rugged and therefore hunters should be in very good physical condition for this hunt.

There is a drawing required on our wilderness Shiras moose hunts, however the odds of getting drawn are good as not very many hunters have been applying for the drawing.  Normal past hunter success on this hunt has been between 75 to 80%.

Hunting is done with the use of horses with the final stalk of course done on foot. We invite you to come and join us on one of the best Shiras moose hunts in North America. The bulls have racks that average 30-38" with racks possible up to 48" or more.

We also offer a guaranteed combination big game hunt for rocky mountain elk, buck mule deer, black bear and cougar for $15,000 USD per hunter. Our guaranteed combination big game hunt allows you to hunt with us for up to six years until you harvest at least one 5x5 bull elk, one four point mule deer, one cougar and one black bear.  You can hunt two or more animals in one season, except you can only hunt elk and deer at the same time in November. If you have been looking to hunt for a rocky mountain bighorn sheep we have the hunt for you.  This is a draw hunt and if you get drawn the odds of success are normally 95 to 100%. (Ask us for Adventure Flyer-6D for the details on this bighorn sheep hunt).

Approximate License & Tag Fees

Hunting license $141.50, moose tag $1,550, elk tag $372.50, deer tag $258.50, black bear tags are $31.50 each with a limit of two tags, cougar tags run $31.50 and a Bighorn Sheep tag runs $1,550.
