IDAHO SPRING BLACK BEAR HUNT!
Idaho Black BearThis is truly a back country hunt in the Salmon River Mountains. We hunt units 20 and 20A in the “Frank Church - River of No Return Wilderness Area”.
Our fully-guided black bear hunts are conducted out of tent camps at 3,500 to 5,000 feet of elevation during the spring of each year. Most of our bear hunting is done on foot or with the use of four wheelers and/or a jet boat.
Over the years this hunt has produced many outstanding black bear. Past success has averaged over 80%.
The mountains are rugged and therefore hunters should be in fairly good physical condition for this hunt. There is no drawing required on our wilderness black bear hunts.
We also offer fully guided elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, and cougar hunts - if interested in any of these hunts, ask for flyer 6A-E).
Our spring black bear hunts are conducted each year from April 20th to May 10th.
Most of our black bear hunts are done fair chase. If you would like a baited bear hunt arrangements can be made ahead of time at an additional cost.
