Alaskan Fully Guided Moose & Big Game Float Hunt

If you are looking for a fully guided moose hunt where the average hunter takes a trophy Bull Moose with a rack between 55" to 65", then this is the hunt for you. Racks up to 70" or more are possible.

We try our best to have our moose hunters take racks over 60", but in far too many cases, our hunters have a hard time passing up bulls with 50" to 60"racks. This hunt is conducted about 300 miles west of Anchorage, Alaska.

On this "Extremely Remote Fly-In Moose Float Hunt" we use rafts to access areas that other hunters do not access. This moose hunt takes place out of portable tent camps along a prime trophy moose hunting river.

Over the years, many Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young record book Bull Moose have been taken in Alaska. Past years hunter success has normally been between 80% - 100%.

Monster Alaska TrophyDuring your fully guided moose hunt you can take black bear, wolf, and in some cases wolverine at no additional cost as long as you have the tags for these animals with you during the hunt.

You will be able to hunt for grizzly bear on this hunt as well if time prevails and only pay a trophy fee if you are successful in taking a grizzly as long as you have a grizzly tag with you on the hunt.

Running into black bear is rare as there are so many grizzlies in the area.

In some cases you can fish for salmon & trout during your moose hunt if you wish.

Your Fully Guided Trophy Bull Moose Float Hunt Includes

• Experienced professional guides 1x1 or 2x1
• All meals during the hunt are prepared for you
• Tents, cooking & eating supplies
• Transportation from a bush town to/from the moose hunting area
• Fleshing and care of your trophy
• 11 days with 9 days of hunting in most cases
• Meat, hide and rack hauling from harvest site back to a bush town

Additional Expenses That Are Not Included in the Above Hunting Package

• US citizen general hunting license = $85
• For hunters that are not US citizens a general hunting license = $300
• Fishing license $30 to $50
• The trophy fee if you harvest a grizzly bear = $6,000

Other Expenses You Will Have

• Expenses incurred from your hometown to a small town in western Alaska where the package starts and ends, while in Alaska other than during the hunt itself, and back to your hometown.
• Expenses for transportation, baggage charges, meals, beverages, hotel or motel charges from your hometown to the small Alaska town and return.
• The average cost to fly from Anchorage to a remote Alaskan town and return = $420 per person.
• Meat, hide and/or rack shipping charges from the small Alaskan town back to your hometown.
• Taxidermy fees and tips to your guide, which are up to your discretion.
